Joseph Beckey, an inmate of the county house, died Tuesday morning of kidney trouble.

Died--Joseph Beckly died at the County Farm on Aug. 24, 1897, of dropsy, aged 15 years, one month, 20 days. Funeral same day conducted by Rev. McKim. Quite a number of people from town and country were present bringing beautiful flowers. Joseph's death is a relief to him and his friends.

Joseph Beckey, an inmate of the county farm who has been a great sufferer with dropsy the past two years, died last Tuesday morning.

The boy patient at the poor farm, who has been such a sufferer with the dropsy, died Monday night. His name was Joseph Beckey, and his short life was a sad one indeed. He was taken from the Children's Home society by people in this vicinity, and after changing hands several times was taken to the poor farm, where he has been sick for two years. The remains were interred at the farm, on Tuesday, Rev. McKim officiating.
