John Patterson was taken sick last Saturday; a doctor was called but Mr. Patterson still grew worse and died early Tuesday morning. At this writing we have heard nothing of the funeral. Mr. Patterson was an old soldier and leaves a wife and three daughters and a son to mourn the loss of a good husband and father.
