Arends, Jan 24, 1891, and for the past twenty-seven years they have been well known farmers in the community. Mrs. Arends died March 16, 1918, at the age of 48 years, 7 months and 21 days. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, the Misses Flossie and Anna and five sons, Jerry, Fred, Henry, John and Siebe; also one sister, Mrs. Henry Mennenga of Shell Rock, Iowa.
