Funeral Services For Mrs. Carl Tank, Thursday

Funeral services for Mrs. Carl Tank were held at Reinbeck last Thursday. The services were in St. John's Evangelical church with Rev. Otto Koch officiating. Burial was in the Reinbeck cemetery. Mrs. Tank was 80 years old. She had suffered from arthritis the past 24 years.

She was born in Scott county and Jan. 9, 1879, she was united in marriage to Carl Tank. Following their marriage they came at once on this vicinity, settling on a farm two miles east of Reinbeck. Later they moved to their farm three miles north of town, where they resided until 1909, when they moved to Reinbeck.

Mr. Tank died Oct. 11, 1929. Three children also preceded her, two dying in infancy. A son, William, died Feb. 15, 1943.

Three daughters, Amanda and Mrs. Alvena Beckman of Reinbeck, Mrs. Emma Boege of Lincoln, and a son, Henry of Reinbeck, survive, as does a sister, Mrs. Ben Strohbehn of Payette, Idaho, seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
