Marjorie was born September 17, 1922, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Axel and Freda (Gloor) Johnson. She graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1941. On June 9, 1945, she was united in marriage to Dale Behrens in Santa Monica, CA. He died November 25, 1999. She worked at Douglas Aircraft in California during World War II and later Viking Pump in Cedar Falls where she retired. She was past-President of the Cedar Falls AMVET Post #49 Auxiliary.

Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Dick) Bailey of Mundelein, IL and Diana Crumpton of Albany, OR; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Eleanor Smith of Cedar Falls; and brother, Donald (Mary) Johnson of Tacoma, WA.

Marjorie died Saturday, July 2, 2005, at her home in Cedar Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
