Services For Mrs. Mary K. Albright

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Mary K. Albright at the Ivester church Tuesday afternoon at 1:30, with Rev. Charles A. Albin in charge of the services. Pall bearers were Clarence Hogle, Fred Draper, Glen Sheller, J. O. Smith, Delbert Kirkdorffer, and Robert Freed. Mrs. Kenneth Cakerice was organist. Mrs. Merle Kirkdorffer and Mrs. Howard Sheller were vocalists. Mrs. Clara Moats and Mrs. Francis Button cared for the flowers.

Relatives from a distance here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Delores Worman, Hansell; Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Niciwander, Hansell; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Allen, Hampton; Roy Kennedy, Marshalltown; Mrs. Ezra Burn, Van Nuys, California; Harvey Allen, Modesto, California; Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Allen, Dumond; Mr. and Mrs. George Allen, Cedar Rapids; Rev. and Mrs. Stanley Kruschwitz, Hawarden; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Albright, State Center; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Pyle and family of Nevada; Miles, Albright of Ames; Forrest Kruschwitz, McPherson, Kansas; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Albright, Waterloo; and Mr. and Mrs. John Burn, Hampton.

Obituary
Mary Catherine Allen Albright, the second child of Joseph and Christiana Allen, was born Jan. 20, 1872 at McVeytown, Pa. When she was five years old she moved with her parents to the farmstead ten miles east of Hampton, Iowa where she grew to womanhood with her seven brothers and four sisters.

On May 4, 1893 she was united in marriage to William H. Albright who preceded her in death Dec. 29, 1941. To this union were born four boys and two girls.

At the age of seventeen she united with the Church of the Brethren and gave of herself unselfishly in Christian service.

She was a faithful companion to her husband and loving mother during their many years of ministry and service that were spent in Butler, Franklin and Grundy counties.

Following the passing of her husband she moved to Eldora where she spent the last ten years of her life. The last eight years being confined to her bed. She was always loving and kind and patiently waited her calling that came Nov. 27, 1954. Age 82 years, 10 months and 7 days.

She leaves to mourn her passing her six children: Joseph William of State Center, Jacob Roy of Monterey, California, Galen Wayne of Eldora, Bruce Willard of Grundy Center, Mae, Mrs. Stanley A. Kruschwitz of Hawarden and Wilma, Mrs. Alfred O. Kruschwitz of Grundy Center. Also 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. One sister and five brothers and a host of relatives and friends.
