Rites Today For P. K. Albright
Funeral services for P. K. Albright, 82, of the Ivester community will be held at the Church of the Brethren in Ivester this afternoon at 3:30 p.m. The Rev. Charles Albin will officiate.
Interment will be in the Sheller cemetery.
Mr. Albright, who was born March 17, 1874 at Steamboat Rock, died Sunday at the Deaconess hospital in Marshalltown. He had spent most of his life in the Ivester community.
Pall bearers will be John Sheller, Glen Sheller, J. O. Smith, Clarence Hogle, Robert Freed and Oscar Slifer.
Mrs. Slifer and Mrs. Dora Button will be in charge of the flowers. Galen Albright will be the vocalist and Mrs. Kenneth Cakerice at the organ.
Mr. Albright is survived by a son, Clair.

P. K. Albright Died Sunday
P. K. Albright, a long time resident of Melrose township, Grundy county, died last Sunday in a Marshalltown hospital. He had been in failing health for a long time. He was confined in a nursing home in Union during most of his last illness. He was taken to the hospital two days before his death. He was 82 years old. Several years ago he retired from his farm in Grundy county to Eldora.
Funeral services were at the Ivester church Tuesday afternoon at 3:30. The services were conducted by Rev. Charles Albin. Burial was in the Sheller cemetery.
Mrs. Albright died several years ago. Surviving is a son Claire, who lives near Conrad. There is one grandchild.
