Eric "Willy" Wilson, 45, of Beaman, IA passed away Friday, February 12, 2016, at the Iowa River Hospice Home, in Marshalltown. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at the Beaman United Methodist Church, in Beaman. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 15, 2016, at the Conrad Chapel of the Anderson Funeral Homes, in Conrad. Inurnment will be at the Oakland Cemetery, in Beaman. A gathering of family and friends will follow at Oakview Golf Course, in Conrad.

Eric was born February 18, 1970 to Thomas and Nancy (Ausdal) Wilson in Marshalltown. He graduated from BCL High School in 1988. Eric was employed with Ritchie Industries in Conrad for 28 years. He was a dedicated employee never missing work. Eric had many hobbies including softball and golf. He enjoyed riding both his Harley and snowmobile. He took many trips up north over the years to ride with his friends. Eric was an avid Iowa Hawkeye Fan rarely missing a game. This past years football team going undefeated in the regular season was a highlight to him. He gathered with friends to watch the games and even was able to attend a few in person. Eric was a shy and quiet guy but once he became your friend, you knew it.

Eric will be missed by his mother, Nancy Wilson of Marshalltown, four sisters; Sarah Wilson of Marshalltown, Ranae Wilson of DesMoines, Becky (Dale) Zink of Conrad, Kathy (Steve) Miell of Gladbrook, a brother Dennis (Mona) Wilson of Iowa City, two nephews, Ilias Lasley, Lane Johnson, three nieces; Brelyn Lasley, Ella Lasley, Paige Doolittle, two great nieces; Avalynn Villagomez , Aleia Lasly, many friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his father, Tom.
