Harm Hook Is Dead

Harm Hook died at the home of his son, George, west of town at an early hour Tuesday morning. Old age largely was the cause of his death. He had been failing gradually for the past few years but he was confined to the house less than a month before his death.

Funeral services will be held at Drake's church on Friday afternoon of this week.

Mr. Hook was in the seventies. He was one of the oldest settlers in this section and lived here continually from the time that he first came. His wife died a little less than a year ago.

Mr. Hook was the father of five children, four of them are living. The only daughter died about twelve years ago. The surviving children are Ben, George, Rudolph and Lupke, all of this county. Mr. Hook always held the respect and confidence of all who knew him.
