Mrs. Harm Hook Dead

Mrs. Harm Hook died at her home in Holland last Friday. She had been sick a few weeks with heart trouble. Funeral services were held at the home at twelve o'clock Wednesday and later at Drake's church.

Mrs. Hook was born in Germany seventy-one years ago. She was married in the land of her birth and shortly after she and her husband came to this country and located in Grundy county. For forty years they lived on the home farm west of Holland. About five years ago they moved to Holland and they have been making their home here continuously ever since.

Mrs. Hook was a loving wife and mother. She was very much attached to her home and her family and she held the confidence and respect of all who knew her.

Mrs. Hook is survived by her husband and four sons. The sons are Ben, George, Rudolph and Lupke, all of this county. The only daughter died about six years ago.

Mrs. Harm Hook died Friday afternoon. Funeral services were held Wednesday and was largely attended. A brother, Rev. L. Hunting of Brada, Iowa, and a nephew, Bernard Hook from out of the country attended the funeral.
