Ben Stickfort

Cedar Falls--Services for Ben Stickfort, 68, of Rt. 1, who died at his home at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday of a heart attack are pending at the Nelson-Richardson Funeral Home.

Mr. Stickfort was born Oct. 12, 1902, in Hardin County, the son of Remmer and Trenje Stickfort. He married Alice Meyer in Stout on Dec. 18, 1924. They are members of Western Avenue Gospel Hall.

Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Ervin Zingg of 721 Boelling Ave., Evansdale; four sons: Harold and Alvin of Dunkerton, Delmer of Raymond and Roger of Fairbank; three brothers: Richard of Stout, Jake of 231 Clair St., Cedar Falls, and John of 127 E. Cedar St., Cedar Falls; one sister, Mrs. Jay DeNeui of 1421 W. 3rd St.; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister and one granddaughter.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
