Mrs. W. H. Frerichs Buried In Holland

Mrs. W. H. (Reka) Frerichs, 88, died March 5 at the Faith Lutheran Nursing Home at Osage, where she has resided since Christmas. Before that time she had been in the hospital. Services were held at Osage Friday. The body was brought to the Holland cemetery for burial later that day. After the committal service the family and friends met at the Holland school house for a time of fellowship.

Mrs. Frerichs' late husband was Grundy County Treasurer up to 1937 when he was succeeded by H. L. Nickerson. Mrs. Frerichs was an assistant in the treasurer's office during her husband's tenure. They later moved to Cedar Falls where they remained until 1944, moving from there to Osage.

She was the daughter of Eggo Stoehr, and was born in 1886.

Survivors include one son, Sidney, one daughter-in-law, Murl Frerichs, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren of Osage.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Edward.

Among her relatives in this area are: Mrs. Ed Brower, Mrs. Helen Buus and Mayo Tjaden.
