Funeral Friday For Wm. Stickfort Baby

Funeral services for the fourteen months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Stickfort were held at the Stephen funeral home in Grundy Center Friday afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev. Oliver Smith of Waterloo. Burial was in the Holland cemetery.

The following obituary was read at the funeral service:
Norma Glee Stickfort, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Stickfort was born in Grundy county January 27, 1938, and passed away at 12:15 March 22, 1939, at St. Francis hospital in Waterloo at the age of 13 months, 25 days. She became ill with bronchial pneumonia twenty days prior to her death. She was the youngest of four children. The deceased leaves to mourn, her father and mother and one brother, Erwin Dale and two sisters, Darleen Mae, and Doris Jean.

God forbids her longer stay,
God recalls His precious loan.
He hath taken her away
From my bosom to his own.
Surely What He wills is best
Happy in His Will I rest.
