John Luchtenburg Jr. Baby Dies at Hospital

The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. John Luchtenburg Jr., died five hours after its birth Thursday afternoon at the Grundy Co. Memorial hospital.

Funeral services for the child, a boy, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Parkersburg Reformed church in charge of Rev. Paul Schmidt. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Survivors include the parents and four brothers and sisters, Wendell, Linda, Velda and Nora.

Mrs. John Luchtenburg Jr. gave birth to a baby boy at the Grundy Memorial Hospital Thursday. Their joy was soon turned to sorrow, as the little one, weighing only 3 pounds, passed away a few hours after birth. We are glad to report that Mrs. Luchtenburg is getting along satisfactorily and has returned home.
