Death of Ella Meints

Miss Ella Meints died in north Colfax Tuesday night from the effects of an epileptic fit to which she had been subject for several years. Her death was wholly unexpected as she was as well as at any time for the past year up to the time that she was taken down with the attack.

Miss Meints was nineteen years old. She was a daughter of John Meints, one of Grundy county's old settlers. She was born in Pleasant Valley township where her many friends regret her sudden death.

Funeral services will be held in the Shaffer church Friday afternoon, after which the remains will be laid in the cemetery adjoining that church.
