Mrs. Jacob Muller Dies At Hospital

Mrs. Jacob K. Muller, age 77, of Beaver township, Grundy co., passed away Sunday morning, June 9, at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital. She had been in poor health for the past several years.

The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the Engelkes Funeral Home, followed by a service in the Pleasant Valley Reformed church, west of Fern. Rev. Gerald Osland officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Grace Everts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Everts, was born June 10, 1885, in Pleasant Valley township, Grundy county, Iowa. She was married to Jacob K. Muller March 1, 1905. They had made their home on a farm in Beaver township, two miles east of Fern.

Mrs. Muller is survived by her husband and six children: Grace, Mrs. William Willms of Dike; Klaas of Dike; Rose, Mrs. Dick Seehusen, Dike; Freeda, at home; Annie, Mrs. Arthur DeVries, of Grundy Center; Jake, Dike; also 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Henry Everts of SanAntonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 daughters, 7 brothers and 3 sisters.
