Sudden and Sad

Last Saturday (January 19) death entered the home of Mrs. B. F. Moser, of Melrose township, and took her son Harry B. aged 15 years, 8 months and 11 days. Harry was one of the twins, and a promising young man in every way. He was sick only one week. He was first attacked in the knees with inflammatory rheumatism. Last Friday morning the disease went to his brain, and he died on Saturday. Nothing serious was apprehended until Friday morning. They sent to Eldora for his brother Charles, and telegraphed Bert, who was at Des Moines attending Drake University, and Dan, who was attending the Western College at Toledo. They both got home before their brother died. Harry was delirious from the time his brain was attacked, and was continually singing and praying. The funeral was attended at Melrose church on Monday, pastor Blodget of Whitten, officiating. Mrs. Moser and the family have the sympathy of the entire community in this sad bereavement.
