Mrs. P. Pruisner Died Saturday At Advanced Age

Mrs. Peter Pruisner, who spent most of her active life in Grundy county, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anna Wolfe, in Waterloo last Saturday. Death was due to advanced age and complications. She was 89 years old.

Mrs. Pruisner's maiden name was Renske Bronsema. She was born in Germany, Sept. 3, 1863. She was married to Peter Pruisner in Germany, April 27, 1889.

Mr. and Mrs. Pruisner came to this country in 1892 and located on a Grundy county farm in Beaver township. Mr. Pruisner died in 1949. Shortly after the death of her husband she moved to Waterloo to make her home with her daughter.

Mrs. Pruisner was a member of the Reformed church of Stout.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Martin Tjepkes, Holland, and Mrs. Wolfe; three sons, Arend, Stout; Peter, Grundy Center, and Henry, Dike; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. One daughter, Rena, Mrs. C. E. Dirks, is deceased.

Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at the Reformed church of Stout. The body may be viewed at the church after 11 a.m. on Thursday. Services will be conducted by Rev. W. J. Heyenga. Burial in the family lot in the Stout cemetery.
