Dan Andreessen Dies At Stout

Dan Andreessen died at his home in Stout last Thursday night following a heart attack. He had been afflicted with a weak heart for some time. He was 62 years old.

Funeral services were held on Monday at the Reformed church in Stout. The services were conducted by Rev. Heyenga, pastor of the church at Stout, and assisted by Rev. Zwaanstra, pastor of the church at Lincoln Center. Burial was in the cemetery at Stout.

Mr. Andreessen had been a resident of Stout the past 19 years. He and his son were in the livestock business. He was born Sept. 19, 1890. In 1915 he and Alice Eiklenborg were married.

Surviving are the wife, two sons, Harry from Holland and Harlan from Stout; five daughters, Mrs. Henry Heeren, New Hartford; Mrs. Vernon Lindeman, Cedar Falls; Mildred, Esther and Erma, who are at home. There are ten grandchildren.

Other surviving relatives are four sisters: Mrs. Fred Eiklenborg and Mrs. Charles Juel, Stout; Mrs. Arend Arends, Parkersburg, and Mrs. Glenn Eilinger, Grundy Center. There are three surviving brothers: Henry, Waterloo; William, Stout, and Herman, New Hartford.
