Mrs. Finger, a long time resident of German township, Grundy county, died at her home Tuesday of the effects of a stroke she suffered last Thursday morning. Edward got up at the usual hour last Thursday and called his mother, receiving no answer he went to her room and found her part way off the bed, apparently lifeless, he at once called neighbors and summoned Dr. Bronimen of Ackley, but signs of life appeared before his arrival. She remained speechless and lingered until Tuesday when death claimed her. She is survived by four sons and four daughters, other relatives and a large number of friends. Funeral services will be held from the West Friesland Presbyterian church Friday, tomorrow, at 12 o'clock.--Aplington News
