Enno U. Harken was born July 20, 1894 and died April 22, 1912 at the home of his mother Mrs. Ubbe Harken in Butler County, Iowa. Although he had been ailing for over a year, his death came unexpected. He was the second youngest son of Mrs. Ubbe Harken. His father and two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Those left to mourn his death are: His mother, four brothers married, two sisters married and one sister and one brother at home. Also the Sunday School of the Westfriesland church of which he was a faithful member.

Funeral services were held April 25 at the West Friesland church. Rev. J. J. Agena officiated and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery adjoining the church.

Pallbearers his classmates: Reemt Toomsen, Arthur Jansonius, Willie Wessels, John Ulfers, Edward Finger and Arend Arends.

Mr. Conrad Rigter, Mr. Klaas Rigter, Mr. and Mrs. John Fonken and Mrs. Geo. Heyer and sons, Klaas and Conrad of Kamrar, were among those attending the funeral.
