Death Of Wm. Sweeter

William Sweeter died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Evert Ross last Wednesday evening. Old age together with a long standing attack of dropsy was the cause of his death. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Hoefker were held at the Reformed church west of town at one o'clock last Saturday.

Mr. Sweeter was a native of Germany. He was born 88 years ago the 12th of last March. He came to this country years ago and most of that time up to the time of his death he lived with the Evert Ross family. Mr. Ross' wife died in the old country and she is buried there.

The surviving children are Mrs. Evert Ross, Mrs. Tom Neessen, Mrs. Harm Daniels and a son, George Sweeter, from Renville. All of the children were present at the funeral.
