Mrs. Menne Bakker Dies In Hospital

Word was received here that Mrs. Menne Bakker died at a hospital in Des Moines Monday morning. She was taken to the hospital a week ago for an operation for female trouble. The operation was made and death followed a few days later. The remains were sent to the home and they reached here Tuesday morning.

Mrs. Bakker was fifty years old. She was born and married in Stevenson county, Ill. A short time after her marriage the family came to this county where they have since made their home.

Mrs. Bakker is survived, by her mother Mrs. Wm. Sims who lives in Wright county, a husband, two sons and three daughters and three sisters and two brothers.

The funeral of Mrs. Bakker will be held at the home Thursday afternoon at one o'clock and later at the church.--Wellsburg Herald
