Mrs. Hoffman died Saturday night at the home of George Bleeker in town. Funeral services were held at the Hoefker church west of town Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Ahuis from Ackley officiated. Mrs. Hoffman was forty-five years old. She came here from Germany five years ago and since that time she has kept house for a number of families in this section. Her husband died in Germany nine years ago. She is survived by a twelve year old daughter. Her only other relatives are Mr. and Mrs. George Bakker who were her aunt and uncle.
