Richard Schafer, the eight year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schafer living two miles west of town died Sunday morning. The boy had been sick for only a few days with bronchitis. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Hoefker were held at the Reform church west of town Tuesday afternoon and they were largely attended.
