The three year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Christians died from scarlet fever last Thursday. He was buried privately in the Hoefker church cemetery in the afternoon. The child had been sick about three weeks. Mr. Christians and another child have been very sick with the disease and the mother has a very bad case of erysipelas. Two trained nurses are at the home assisting in caring for the sick.
