Will Williams Rites Friday

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 4th, for Will Williams, age 51, who passed away Tuesday morning at the Eldora Memorial Hospital.

The services will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday at the Williams home southwest of Wellsburg, and later at the First Christian Reformed church, with the Rev. Bernard Visscher officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Mr. Williams entered the Eldora Memorial Hospital Sunday afternoon; he had not been in good health since February. Death came as the result of cancer.

Will Williams was born in Hardin county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Williams. He was married September 25, 1935, to Janet Janssen. He had been engaged in farming most of his active life.

In addition to his wife, surviving are two daughters, Wilma (Mrs. Marlyn E. Peters of Anamosa), and Elaine, at home, and one son, Elmer, at home. An infant son passed away in 1941. Also surviving is one grandchild, Rochelle Peters.

Surviving is his mother, Mrs. Freda Williams; one brother, Harry Williams of Steamboat Rock; two sisters, Mrs. John Krull Jr. and Mrs. Raymond Riebkes of Wellsburg. His father preceded him in death in 1950.
