Mrs. S. Utter died Thursday at the home of her niece in Center Point, Iowa. The remains were brought here Friday evening by her sons and daughter, Ira and Ena of Waterloo, and Mrs. Sargent of Iowa Falls. Services were held Saturday morning at the Clarence Cunning home, conducted by Rev. Effie K. M. Jones of Waterloo. Interment in Fairfield cemetery. She was an old resident here. Her husband died several years ago and was buried here.

New Hartford, Nov. 9--The funeral of Mrs. Mary Utter took place at 10 a.m., and burial services were held at the grave in Fairfield cemetery. Mrs. Utter died at Center Point November 5, and the remains were sent here for interment in the old family cemetery in Grundy county. She was 72 years old and was for many years a resident of Grundy county and was the mother of Ira and Alfred Utter of Waterloo, Henry Utter of Beatrice, Neb., and Mrs. Sargent of Iowa Falls.
