Milton Kynett Erickson, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Erickson of Grant township, was born April 29, 1899. About two weeks ago he was taken down with double pneumonia and on Thursday, March 21, 1901, the angels came for him. He was one year, ten months and twenty-two days old. The funeral occurred at Northfolk Chapel on Saturday morning. After a short service, a company of loving and sympathetic friends followed the remains to the cemetery at Grundy Center where the interment was made. Mr. and Mrs. Erickson have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in this vicinity in their bereavement.

A precious one from is gone
A voice we loved is stilled,
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.
God in his wisdom has recalled
The boon his love had given,
And though the body slumbers here,
The soul is safe in heaven.
