Helen Campbell Passes Away

End Comes Saturday at her Home After Lingering Illness

Miss Helen Campbell, daughter of Alex Campbell, passed away Saturday night at her home after a lingering illness of some months, her death being due to tuberculosis. The funeral service was held from the late home on Monday afternoon, Rev. Dilman Smith officiating. The Eastern Stars, of which the deceased was a member, attended in a body.

Obituary
Helen Campbell, daughter of Alex Campbell, was born six miles west of Grundy Center, Iowa on Feb. 27, 1891, and passed away at her home in Grundy Center, on Jan. 27, 1917, at the age of 22 years and 11 months.

Helen lost her mother when but four years of age, after which time she made her home with her father and aunt, Mary Campbell, who has been a mother to her during these years.

The immediate relatives surviving are her father, Alex Campbell, and two aunts, Mary Campbell of Grundy Center, and Mary M. Allen of Newark, N.J. and one cousin, Mrs. D. O. Miller, of Grundy Center. Miss Allen has been assisting in the care of Miss Helen during her recent illness.
