Jaime James Darwin Hartgrave Jr., 34, of 1612 C Ave. NE, died Monday, Jan. 22, 1996, in his home after a short illness. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, Janeba-Kuba Funeral Home West, by the Rev. Jack Hooten. Burial: Fairview cemetery, Grundy Center. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Hartgrave of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Joe Dean Hartgrave and wife Diane of Oxford; a sister, Lynnice Wedewer of Cedar Rapids; two nephews, Joe Dean Hartgrave Jr. and Chad Allen Hartgrave; a niece, Amber Hadrave; a grandnephew, Joseph Allen Hartgrave Jr.; and a step-niece, Michele Englert.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Darwin James Hartgrave.

He was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa, March 16, 1961, and had resided in Cedar Rapids since 1962. He was employed as a drywall applicator. He was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church.

A memorial fund has been established.
