Anna Meyeraan Services Held

Anna Meyeraan, 87, of Grundy Center, passed away on Saturday, March 4, at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital in Grundy Center of natural causes.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 7, at 1:30 p.m. at the Bethany Presbyterian Church in Grundy Center with Pastor Nadim Saikaly officiating. Burial followed in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Grundy Center.

Pallbearers were Ray Huisman, Gary Meyeraan, Eugene Meester, John Brower, Kirk Weichers and Roger Hook.

Anna was born on January 22, 1908, the daughter of Harry and Rena (Van Horne) Bleeker in Renville, Minnesota. On December 11, 1928, she was united in marriage to Fred Meyeraan in Worthington, Minnesota.

She lived most of her life in Grundy County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; her parents; 1 sister, Flora Bleeker; and 1 brother, Everett.

Survivors include her sister, Irene Krull of Grundy Center; and several nieces and nephews.

The Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home, Grundy Center, was in charge of the arrangements.
