Mrs. B. Storjohann Services Monday

Mrs. Bothilde Storjohann, 91, of the Sunrise Hill Care Center, Traer, and formerly of Lincoln, died Friday, December 15 at 12:05 p.m. in the Schoitz Memorial hospital at Waterloo.

Funeral services were held at the Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home in Grundy Center Monday afternoon at 1:30. Rev. H. Dale Morse of the Salem church at Lincoln, officiated. Casketbearers were Clarence, Albert, Henry Jr. and Alvin Storjohann, Harry Billerbeck and Marvin Harders. Burial was in Fairview cemetery, Grundy Center.

She was born September 25, 1887 in Waygaard, Germany, the daughter of Hans and Ann Christie Christensen Hansen. On April 19, 1908 she was married to Willy C. Storjohann in Germany. They came to New York in 1923 and settled and farmed in the Lincoln and Gladbrook area. They moved into Lincoln March 1, 1945. He preceded her in death September 17, 1973. She had been a resident of the Sunrise Hill Care Center at Traer since July 2, 1972.

Her survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Anne) Christine Mahle of Marshalltown, Mrs. John (Henrietta) Bartusch of Marion, one brother Heinrich Hansen of Leck, Germany, seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, and one granddaughter.
