Albert Krull Dies In Waterloo Home

Albert Krull, 81, died Sunday morning at the Woodlawn Convalescent Home in Waterloo where he has been a resident for 10 years.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home in Grundy Center. Rev. Calvin Vanderwerf officiated. Burial was in the Grundy Center cemetery.

Albert Krull was born November 30, 1888, in Germany, the son of Albert and Dena Bootsman Krull.

He came to Grundy county, Iowa, in 1902 with his mother, brothers and sisters. The family lived on farms near Buck Grove, Stout and Grundy Center.

Survivors include one brother, Chris Krull of Grundy Center, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters.
