Ed Elliott Funeral Held Friday

Ed Elliott, 83, passed away August 13 at the Woodlawn Nursing Home in Waterloo where he had resided the past six years. A graveside service was held at Rose Hill cemetery, Grundy Center, last Friday with Rev. Calvin Vanderwerf officiating.

Edward Elliott was born to Arthur and Mary Elliott on a farm near Morrison. He had been employed on farms in the Morrison-Grundy Center community all of his active life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters. Surviving are seven nieces and three nephews.

The Ferree-Abbas Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
