Mrs. Ann Elliott Dies at Hospital

Mrs. Ann Elliott died last Friday at the Grundy hospital. She had been afflicted with cancer for most of the past year. She was a hospital patient six weeks before her death. She had been a continuous resident of Grundy Center for 82 years. There are very few, if any, who have resided her that long. She was born at Mt. Carroll, Ill., April 13, 1869. Her maiden name was Anna Misner. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Misner. She was a practical nurse during much of her active lifetime.

Funeral services were at 2:30 Monday afternoon at the Ferree Chapel. Burial was in the Grundy Center cemetery. The services were conducted by Rev. E. E. Basye, pastor of the Methodist church.

Surviving is one son, Ellsworth, who had been making his home with his mother. Other surviving relatives are two nephews and five nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter.
