Death of Del Monte Duncan

A former Grundy Center resident, Del Monte Duncan, died suddenly of a heart attack Thursday evening at his home at Iola, Kansas. Mr. Duncan, who was about 48 years old, was a furniture salesman. His widow is the former Neola Stevens, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Stevens of Grundy Center. The couple had two children, Patricia, who is a college student, and Don, who attends grade school in Iola.

Funeral services and burial were at Iola Monday afternoon.

Mr. Duncan's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Duncan, and his sister, Mrs. Ray Crouse, all of Conrad, attended the funeral in Kansas.
