John Lambert Dies Saturday At Independence

John Lambert, age 60, died at Independence, Ia., last Saturday. Burial was in the Grundy Center cemetery Monday afternoon.

Mr. Lambert had resided in the County Home for the last three years. January 8th he was taken to the state hospital at Independence. At the time, he was suffering from high blood pressure and hardening of the arteries. Death came quite suddenly there days after his commitment to the state hospital.

The funeral service was held Monday afternoon at the Engelkes funeral home in Grundy Center, with burial in the local cemetery.

He is survived by his wife and one son, John. Another son had preceded him in death.
