Funeral Rites To Be Thursday

Mrs. Myra Lillibridge Services To Be Held At Local Funeral Home

Mrs. Myra Lillibridge, 84, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. L. Ingledue, 119 Ninth street northeast, at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday morning, following an illness of 2 1/2 months. She had resided with her daughter, Mrs. Orrie Wagner, Waterloo, until coming to Mason City eight months ago.

Mrs. Lillibridge was born Jan. 16, 1857, at Albion. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lillibridge, in 1924, and by three sons.

Surviving Mrs. Lillibridge are three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Ingledue, Mason City; Mrs. Vera Wagner, Waterloo; and Mrs. Mina Klinefelter, Austin, Minn., and three sons, Will Lillibridge, Waterloo; A. W. and Ray Lillibridge, Rockwell, and 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Patterson funeral home at 10 o'clock Thursday morning, with the Rev. Oswald Sandbach, Sheffield, in charge. Burial will be at the Grundy Center cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Patterson funeral home until the time of services.

Mrs. Lillibridge, Former Grundy Resident, Dead

Mrs. Myra Lillibridge, for many years a resident of Grundy county, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Ingledue, at Mason City at 2:30 Tuesday morning, following an illness of two and a half months. She was 84 years old.

Funeral services will be held at Mason City on Thursday morning at 10:30 at the Patterson funeral home. The body will be brought to Grundy Center for burial in the family lot in the Grundy Center cemetery.

Mrs. Lillibridge resided in Grundy county during the greater share of her active life. The family resided on a farm southwest of Grundy Center several years and for a number of years they resided in Grundy Center. Her husband, Henry Lillibridge, died in 1924. Three sons of the family also preceded the mother in death.

Surviving are three daughters and three sons. The daughters are Mrs. Ingledue, Mason City; Mrs. Vera Wagoner, Waterloo; Mrs. Nina Kleinfelter, Austin, Minn. The surviving sons are Will, Waterloo; A. W., Rockwell, Iowa, and Roy from Rockwell. There are 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
