Mr. and Mrs. Julius Manuel living two miles east of Beaman lost their seven months old son Monday night. The child had been playing with children who were eating blackberries and the baby is believed to have eaten several. Obstruction of the bowels followed shortly after and the little one at 10:30 the same evening died. The funeral was held Tuesday and interment was made in the cemetery at Grundy Center.
