Jess Algood Died At Morrison

Jess Algood died at his home in Morrison at six o'clock Wednesday morning. He had been in failing health the past two years, caused by a heart ailment. He would have been 68 years old had he lived until the 5th of March. He was born in Cole county, Ill. but spent most of his life in Grundy county.

He and Eva Buchan were married at Grundy Center, March 12, 1888. They lived in the vicinity of Grundy Center a number of years and in 1936 they moved to Morrison where they have since resided.

Surviving are the wife and five children. The children are Virgil and William Algood, Minneapolis; Mrs. Rose Brant, St. Ansgar, Iowa; Mrs. Don Ishman, West Union, Mrs. Harry Cooley, Morrison. A step-daughter Mrs. J. G. McFarland lives in Seattle.
