Mrs. Deborah Simcox, age 68, died at the Allen Memorial hospital Tuesday morning following an operation.

She was born April 11, 1881, at Dixon, Ill., daughter of Martin and Martha Mock and was married to Louis E. Simcox on Sept. 28, 1904, at Ferguson, Ia. They were the parents of ten children, nine surviving. They are: Mrs. Harry W. Nelson of Marshalltown; Mrs. Russell Huston of Oxnard, Calif.; Albert and Clair of Waterloo; Ralph, Iowa City; Ned, Hudson; Louis Jr., Liscomb; Don, Oxnard, Calif.; and Harold, Des Moines. One son died in infancy. Three sisters, Mrs. Julia Hulin and Mrs. Jack Doud of Ferguson, Ia.; Miss Della Mock of Frederick, Md., and a brother, Harry Mock of New Hampton.

Funeral services were held Thursday at the Estel Funeral home at Marshalltown with Rev. C. R. Brown of Des Moines officiating. Sons of Mrs. Simcox acted as pall bearers.
