Mrs. E. J. Watson Dies At Reinbeck
Funeral services for Mrs. Elwood Watson were held at the Methodist church in Reinbeck Friday afternoon. Burial was in the Reinbeck cemetery. Mrs. Watson died at her home in Reinbeck Wednesday morning, June 29th, following a heart attack. She had been afflicted with heart trouble for some time.
Mrs. Watson was born Ella Jane Willer, July 28, 1893, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Willer, in Reinbeck and grew to womanhood in that community, and graduated from Reinbeck high school. She was married to Elwood J. Watson September 18, 1911, in Reinbeck.
Surviving are her husband and seven children: E. J. Jr., Waterloo; Ross, Waterloo; Guy, Waterloo; Ray and Claire, Reinbeck; Mrs. Joseph Fulkerson, Reinbeck; Mrs. A. J. Christensen, Yokohama, Japan; four grandchildren; also two brothers, Emil and Raymond Willer, of Reinbeck; five sisters: Mrs. Lena Rhoades, Mrs. Vera Schlicht, Mrs. Otto Brandt, Mrs. George Bowman, Reinbeck; Mrs. Wilmer Bowman, Long Beach, Calif.; one brother and parents preceded her in death.
