Funeral Services Friday For Benjamin H. Fletcher

Funeral services were held in the Methodist church in Reinbeck Friday, Nov. 25, for B. H. Fletcher, with burial in the Reinbeck cemetery.

Obituary
Benjamin Harrison Fletcher, eldest son of John and Mathilda Fletcher, was born in Reinbeck Jan. 22, 1890.

He was left an orphan at the age of eleven and lived for a time east of Reinbeck with the J. B. Dunn family, also with his aunt, Mrs. Janet Fletcher of Reinbeck. He had a sunny disposition and made many friends.

He grew to manhood in Grundy county, attending Reinbeck public school and the Methodist church. October 18, 1913, he married Mary LaFrenz of Hudson, Iowa. One son, John Henry, was born to this union.

October 15, 1948, he was married to Ann Peterman of Detroit Lakes, Minn.

He passed away in a hospital in Denver, Colorado on Nov. 19, 1949, at the age of 59 years, 10 months and 28 days.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Ann, his son, John Henry of Marion, Iowa, granddaughter Rebecca of Waterloo; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Snow and Mrs. Luella Whitten of Rowan, Mrs. Herman Stahl, Holland; two brothers, Melvin K. of Cedar Falls and John W. of Holland, several nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
