Husband of Former Grundy Woman Dies

Howard "Pete" Wilson, 72, of Waterloo, husband of the former Grace Lynch of Grundy Center, died Sunday afternoon at the Allen Memorial hospital.

Services were held Wednesday at the Oppold Funeral Home with burial in the Sacred Heart cemetery at Grundy Center.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Patricia Meany, and a son Randy of Waterloo, four grandchildren, two sisters and a brother.

Mr. Wilson served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He owned a restaurant in Waterloo 18 years and served as supervisor for Goodwill Industries until retirement in 1978.
