Mrs. Marie Reisz Dies Suddenly

Mrs. Marie Reisz, 81, died unexpectedly at her home in Grundy Center Friday, May 11. A memorial mass was held Monday morning at 10 o'clock in the Sacred Heart Catholic church. She donated her body to the University of Iowa School of Medicine.

The Ferree-Oltmann Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Marie Myerchin was born October 1, 1891 at Warren, Minn., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Myerchin. She was married to Leo C. Reisz on October 3, 1917 at Great Falls, Montana. Mrs. Reisz was a member of the Sacred Heart church, and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Valeria Caldwell of Omaha, Nebr., Mrs. Carmelita Moody of St. Paul, Minn. and Mrs. Yvonne Oettinger of Milwaukee, Wis., five sisters, Mrs. Julia Vanek and Lillian Krisell of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Dorothy Sirek of Clintonville, Wis., Emily Wasick of North Bend, Oregon and Agnes Saumur of Los Angeles, Calif.; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
