Mrs. Anna Kopsa Services Monday
Services for Mrs. Joseph (Anna Marie Klar) Kopsa, 71, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 9 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Grundy Center. The Requiem High Mass was celebrated by Monsignor John Smith.
Casket bearers were Glenn Hurlbutt, Leo Kopsa, Terry Markwitz, Wayne Kopsa, Kenneth Markwitz and Harold Skramovsky.
Burial was in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Grundy Center.
Mrs. Kopsa passed away Thursday night in her home.
A public rosary was recited at the Johnston Funeral Home, Conrad, Saturday at 8 p.m.
She was born August 1, 1900 in Marshall county, a daughter of Frank and Pauline Klar.
She married Joseph Kopsa on Feb. 14, 1928, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. They farmed in Marshall county until January, 1968, when they moved to Conrad. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and the Kozy Klub.
Survivors are two sons, Robert of Rt. 2, Gilman, and John, Rt. 1, Tama, 5 sisters, Mrs. George (Neva) Hurlbutt, Conrad; Miss Edith Klar, Covina; Mrs. Rosa Jordan, San Bernardino, Calif.; Mrs. George (Frances) Markwitz, Conrad; Mrs. Anfin (Helen) Anderson, Albion, and 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in July of 1968.
