Joseph Kopsa Dies Suddenly

Joseph Kopsa, 65, died suddenly on a farm near Clemons, Monday.

Services are pending at Johnston Funeral Home here.

He was born Jan. 14, 1903, in Bohemia, a son of Frank and Amelia Pole Kopsa. He was reared in Bohemia and was a U.S. naturalized citizen for 46 years.

He married Anna Klar Feb. 14, 1928 in Grundy Center. They farmed in Marshall and Grundy counties moving to Conrad in December of 1967.

Survivors include his widow, two sons, John of Hacienda Heights, Calif., and Robert of Marshalltown; three brothers, Karl of Beaman, Robert of Conrad and Frank of Grundy Center; three sisters, Mrs. Wenzel (Maria) Hellmich of Whitten, Mrs. Mollie Kalous of Lohrville and Mrs. Tressa Skramovsky of Marshalltown.
