Mrs. Nora Kinsinger Died At Home Monday; Funeral This Thursday

A longtime Grundy Center resident, Mrs. Nora Kinsinger, 89, died Monday evening at her home here.

Funeral services will be from the Sacred Heart Catholic church at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, with Rev. Msgr. John J. Smith in charge. Burial will be in Sacred Heart cemetery.

Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Ferree Funeral Home.

Nora Connell Kinsinger was born April 3, 1878, in Tazwell county, Ill., the daughter of Jeremiah and Bridget Connell. She came to Grundy county with her parents at the age of 14.

She was married to William H. Kinsinger on November 19, 1923, at Grundy Center. The couple farmed in Palermo township for several years until they retired to town. He passed away April 12, 1955.

Survivors include three sisters: Sister Mary Carmelita (Catherine) of Ottumwa, Margaret Connell of Grundy Center, and Mrs. L. J. (Mae) Murphy of Waterloo; a brother, Fr. John Connell of Tampa, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
