Evelyn Kinion Services Held

Evelyn C. Kinion, 84, of Mason City, formerly of Waterloo died Monday, January 4, 1999, at Muse Norris Inpatient Unit, Mason City, of natural causes.

Services were held on Thursday, January 7, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mason City, with burial in Grundy Center Cemetery, Grundy Center. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of North Iowa.

She was born May 25, 1914, in Waterloo, daughter of Frank and Kathrine Burger Manske. She married Keith F. Kinion on November 28, 1934, in Waterloo. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, Kay of Springfield, MO; two daughters, Karen Niemants of Omaha, NE and Karla Goethe of Arlington, ME; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Catherine Kelly of Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Kathleen; and a brother, Robert.
